Decades ago I recall coming upon one of the many vinyls that my parents had, which in this case was of Antonio Vivaldi.
Although the exact nature of which songs were featured on the vinyl escapes me, the name Vivaldi always stuck with me given that I had never run into anyone by that name or have ever since.
I’ll be the first one to admit, when it comes to classical music, it’s not like I enjoy every single composer, though certainly more than most. But usually, if I enjoy even one track of a particular person to the utmost extent, then I enjoy almost all of the composer’s work. Not unlike my love for books.
Vivaldi just happens to be one of the composers I enjoy the most. In fact, the reason I’m even sharing this is because this track came on while I was working out today, then when I was organizing just now, and I had forgotten I even had it as it can be quite a while for new music to cycle if you have enough songs, podcasts coupled with that repeat button (!).
I simply thought if I was to intersperse some of the most intriguing modern music I enjoy, then I could at least counterbalance that with some of my favorite older classics. Though as a fair warning, a lot of what I listen to is instrumental because (1) I enjoy instruments of all types, though violins and piano take the cake, and (2) when I write, I default to instruments more than anything. And when I do, writing comes seamlessly.
In any case, the 4 Seasons Winter version is shared just in case anyone might want to delve into something new that’s not only quite palatable, but quite invigorating to be honest.
